1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the CCG Speech website and our pediatric speech therapy services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CCG Speech. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services or website.
2. Services Provided
CCG Speech provides pediatric speech-language pathology services, including evaluations and therapy sessions. Services may be delivered through in-home visits, school-based sessions, or teletherapy platforms. We serve pediatric clients across Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.
3. Eligibility
Our services are intended for pediatric clients. All therapy must be initiated and authorized by a parent or legal guardian. By scheduling a session, you represent that you are the legal guardian of the child and have the legal authority to consent to treatment.
4. Scheduling and Cancellations
Consistent attendance is vital for therapeutic progress. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or missed appointments without notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. We reserve the right to discontinue services for frequent non-attendance.
5. Payments and Insurance
Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made. While we may provide documentation for insurance reimbursement, parents/guardians are responsible for verifying their specific coverage and for all costs not covered by insurance. Fees are subject to change with prior notice.
6. Teletherapy Requirements
Teletherapy requires a stable internet connection and a private, quiet space to ensure HIPAA compliance and therapeutic focus. Parents/guardians must be available to assist with technology or redirection as needed. Teletherapy may not be suitable for all clinical needs.
7. Parental Responsibilities
Parents/guardians must provide accurate health histories and notify CCG Speech of any changes. For in-home services, a clean and safe environment must be provided for the therapist. A responsible adult must remain on-site throughout the duration of every therapy session.
8. Emergency Services Disclaimer
CCG Speech does not provide emergency medical or mental health services. If your child is experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately. We are a specialized clinic and do not provide 24/7 crisis intervention.
9. Limitations of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CCG Speech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services. While we strive for clinical excellence, results from therapy vary by individual and cannot be guaranteed.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website and materials provided during therapy, including logos, text, clinical resources, and session activities, are the property of CCG Speech and are protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce or distribute these materials without written permission.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia, as applicable to the location where services are provided. Any legal disputes shall be handled within the relevant jurisdiction's court system.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
